Today, Sucker Punch Productions officially revealed all the technical details of the upcoming Infamous Second Son & Infamous First Light
Here are all the salient bits:
- HDR support confirmed for both. Furthermore, the standard PS4 will also have HDR support as long as you have an HDR capable TV.
- With PS4 Pro’s increased resolution the game’s details will be sharper, and there will be less specular aliasing. If you don’t have a 4K TV, you’ll still see a smoother image as the PS4 Pro will scale down to match your 1080p display. If you do have a 4K TV it’s currently not clear whether you will have native 4K or be upscaled. It’s likely the later.
The patch for Infamous Second Son bringing this update can be downloaded right now. The update clocks in at around 3.06 GB. The patch for Infamous: First Light is also available for download, it clocks in at 2.5 GB.
PS4 Pro is set to launch on November 10th for $399.
