InFamous Second Son Information Released

Following its reveal during the PlayStation 4 reveal, Sucker Punch Productions has released new information on its PlayStation 4 title and sequel to InFamousInFamous Second Son. The game brings a new character, city, powers, and more to the PlayStation 4.

The main character of Second Son is the twenty four year old Delsin Rowe that is convinced he is meant for bigger and greater things though those things have yet to find him. He grew up outside of Seattle where he will have the opportunity to become great. After saving people from a burning bus, he learns he can direct, manipulate, and become smoke.

The Department of United Protection is a government agency that wants to make sure the events of Empire City and New Marais are not repeated seven years after the adventures of Cole McGrath. Deslin is not one to be respectful to authority and finds himself in the sights of the DUP.

Along the way many questions will be brought up and this quote from Benjamin Franklin plays a role in the game, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Players will be able to visit the many landmarks in Seattle and choices made by the player will have an affect on the story of the game. Personally, it is refreshing to see the series make its way to the PlayStation 4 and incorporate a real city into the game as most open world games usually avoid real cities.

As the launch of the PlayStation 4 approaches expect more information to be released on the game and those as excited about this game as I am sound off in the comments.
