Infinity Ward Loses Two More Staff

What is happening to a studio that was on top of the world only 5 months ago? After releasing the Modern Warfare 2 in November to a tune of over a billion dollars, the wheels have come off one of the most recognizable studios in all of gaming. Starting with tons of trouble with the multi-player aspect of the game, which has totally gotten out of hand, the studio went through a bitter separation with studio heads Vince Zampella and Jason West over alleged insubordination and breach of contract. Now DualShockers has learned that two more high level employees have apparently left the studio as well.

Lead designer Todd Alderman and lead software engineer Francesco Giglotti have left the company with no reason given as of press time. Alderman and Giglotti were with Infinity Ward for 8 and 7 years. Todd Alderman was one of the minds behind the multi-player aspect of the series so his departure will be sorely missed. No word has been given on what Infinity Ward plans to do at this time, but one can be sure that the studio needs to do some heavy retooling to get back on track. Stay tuned to DualShockers for more news on the roller coaster ride that is Infinity Ward.
