Recently, the Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, announced the release of the second wave of Injustice 2 beta codes. The initial batch went out after the Watchtower livestream last Tuesday (which also showed off the newly announced Damian Wayne Robin). As usual, Boon used his Twitter to deliver the good news:

A search of the hashtag 'Injustice2 beta' shows that a lot of people are still eagerly anticipating finding a code in their email. However, with only 3 days separating the first two waves of early access, it's unlikely that those who signed up will have to wait that long in between batches. It's unclear how long NetherRealm will support the codes leading up into the May 16th release date.

The Beta sign up is unfortunately closed with the website stating 'If we reopen, we’ll let everyone know!' Included on the online demo are 4 characters: Super Man, Super Girl, Batman, and Atrocitus. And each battle provides players with gear that can be equipped for different designs and buffs for the 4 heroes/villains.

Apparently thousands of people have been playing Injustice 2 early and NetherRealm is using the data to make the online experience even better for when the game drops. Here's hoping that everyone who signed up gets their codes and that NRS continues to show us more content in the upcoming months.
