As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. According to NetherRealm head, Ed Boon, the Injustice 2 beta round will be ending on February 21st. He of course did this in his usual playful manner on his twitter:

It's unclear whether there will be another testing period or even a demo since the game still has 3 months until release. However, my instinct is telling me that this will be it for betas and we'll have to wait until May 16th to play.

In the meantime, the Injustice 2 roster has been filling up nicely. Cheetah and Catwoman were announced on Valentine's Day and more characters like Scarecrow and Cyborg have been showing up in early versions of the mobile game. Also, the official website lists yet another character to be announced on February 23rd.

Should you want to join the last few days of the beta and didn't sign up, it looks like Ed Boon will once again be giving out codes via tweets for this last weekend. Injustice 2 is set to release for Xbox One and PS4 mid May and I'm sure there will plenty of news until then.
