Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios announced a new playable character that will join the roster of their successful fighting game Injustice 2.

The new character is Atom, and as usual he does not have a release date, but just a "coming soon."

To be more precise, the Atom that will appear in the game is Ryan Choi, after he has taken up the mantle from his mentor Ray Palmer.

Having debuted in 2006, this Atom can shrink himself to various degrees, including subatomic sizes, and can also control his mass and weight.

You can check out Atom and his powers in the reveal trailer at the bottom of this article, and if you’re not familiar with Injustice 2, or want a refresher, you can read our quite positive review of the game. You can also check out Raiden, who was also revealed a few weeks ago, and Black Manta. Hellboy will also come as part of Fighter Pack 2.

Injustice 2 is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, while a mobile version is also playable on iOS and Android.
