Injustice 2 Reveals Starfire as New Playable Character with New Trailer
A new trailer introduces a new playable character for Injustice 2: Starfire is coming in August.
Who is the best orange girl of the DC Universe? Starfire of course! And she is coming to Injustice 2.
NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just released a new trailer showing off everyone’s favorite Tamaranian. Whether you want to call her Starfire or Koriand’r, she seems to have the usual wit, and she looks positively charming. And deadly. But more charming.
She also appears to have a big axe to grind with Injusice 2‘s Robin, for pretty obvious reasons.
After her debut in 1980, she has been portrayed pretty much everywhere, and in several forms, including the Teen Titans TV series, that probably did the best job at making her popular among the masses. Incidentally, she has been far from politically correct quite a few times, which sets her apart from many superheroes, nowadays.
Starfire will be added in August as a playable DLC character to the game, and you can see her in action below. If you want to see more of the game’s latest DLC, you can check out Sub-Zero and Red Hood.
Injustice 2 is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One. The game appears to be quite successful sales-wise, having topped the NPD charts in its release month of May, followed by a second place in June, overtaken only by another fighting game, Tekken 7.
