Do you remember PolyKnight Games' InnerSpace? We haven't heard much about the game since the PS4/Xbox One announcement last Spring, where the indie developer originally targeted a Summer 2017 launch. And while we missed that original release window, InnerSpace is still in the works and will be available on January 16, 2018.

News comes by way of PolyKnight's CEO Eric Brodie on the PlayStation Blog. For those who don't know the premise of the game, it takes place in a post-apocalyptic world -- but not one like seen in the Fallout series. Instead, the world is colorful and bright. Your mission is to traverse the universe and interpret what happened, where the "old gods" went, and just soak in the beauty.

This isn't limited uniquely to PlayStation 4 though -- according to the Steam page, the PC version of the game will similarly be releasing on January 16 (along with presumably the Xbox One version). It's worth noting that PolyKnight has also confirmed that the game will not be launching with PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X Enhanced support, and will start out as digital only -- though they would love to see a physical release some day.

InnerSpace will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on January 16, 2018. Even better, InnerSpace got a brand new trailer to accompany the release date reveal, which you can check out below.
