Insomniac Announces 2 New VR Titles; Also Dates Edge of Nowhere and Song of the Deep

Reeling from the critical and financial success of Ratchet & Clank, Insomniac has taken to their official blog to announce two new upcoming VR games as well as release dates for Edge of Nowhere and Song of the Deep. And while it isn’t too surprising that Insomniac has so many titles cooking in the oven, the fact that they will all be released in 2016 is logistically breathtaking.

Starting with the games we already know, Edge of Nowhere — originally shown off at an early Oculus press conference — will come exclusively to the Oculus Store on June 6, 2016. Alongside that, GameStop exclusive Song of the Deep is sporting a new story trailer (seen below). For those looking to grab the stylish Metroid-vania, you can grab it physically at GameStop or digitally by Xbox Live, PlayStation Store, or Steam on July 12, 2016 (in case it needs to be mentioned, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One).

The two newly-announced VR titles, Feral Rights and The Unspoken, will both be coming to the Oculus Store in Fall 2016. Feral Rights (as seen in the teaser trailer below) is a VR adventure brawler set on a fantasy island, lush with temples and forests. Meanwhile, The Unspoken  is an Oculus touch-enabled action game which grants you magical abilities. Players will be able to shift the world around them in “an urban magic fight club.”
