Do you remember back when Marvel's Spider-Man developers started getting harassed because of the puddles? Oh, and when the developers got harassed because fans were calling for the Raimi suit? Well, would you believe it, the fans are at it again, but this time because of Peter Parker's new face.Last month, the new character model for Peter Parker in the Marvel's Spider-Man PS5 remaster was revealed in an official blog post, but the reveal of a younger-looking character left many fans conflicted. So much so that Bryan Intihar, creative director at Insomniac Games issued a statement. However, it seems as if the "fans" have continued to do nothing but harass Bryan. "To our Spidey fans," his latest tweet reads, "I totally appreciate your passion, but sending me threatening notes that you will “HUNT YOU DOWN AND WE WILL FIND YOU! YOU FIX THIS NOW!” isn’t cool." He ends the tweet with "With what’s happening in today’s world, let’s be a force for good and be respectful of each other. Thank you."

This is certainly both awful to read, but also not surprising given some people's sense of entitlement. The tweet has seen a large outpouring of support for Bryan and the studio, including messages from God of War's Cory Barlog, and The Last of Us Part 2's Neil Druckmann.

Marvel's Spider-Man is going to be packed in with Miles Morales which will be launching on the PS5 on November 12. It will include the new version of Peter Parker. Although, I do hope that Insomniac makes light of the controversy by adding the old character's face as a sticker in photo mode as they did with the Puddlegate situation.
