The upcoming Spider-Man game by Insomniac Games has taken E3 by storm, and the developer is continuing to drop pieces of information on its official Twitter account.

First of all, we learn that the game is set in its own universe, which is most probably the most sensible approach to take with superhero games.

The developers also mentioned that it has been in the works for “well over a year,” even if they repeatedly declined (understandably) to provided a release window or even a year.

We also learn that there’s no chance for a demo in the coming months:

Speaking of Insomniac, some have noticed that their upcoming game Song of The Deep would probably fit the PS Vita rather nicely, but there’s no dice there. Actually, the developer seems to have no plans to work n Sony’s portable at all.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
