A new trailer was released today by Insomniac Games, showing off gameplay from their latest title, Fuse. Fuse will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 28th in North America and May 31st in Europe.

The trailer shows off the four main characters of the series (Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble and Naya Deveraux) in action, taking down enemies separately with their unique weapons and working together in up to four-player co-op.

Insomniac has also announced a demo that will be available for download starting May 7th, for both PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace, which will allow players to experience the LEAP system. Using LEAP, you can switch between the four Overstrike operatives at-will, letting player take advantage of their unique weapons and skillsets.

It’ll be interesting to see if these features will play as well as they sound, because if so, Insomniac may have just created the first game of a bestselling new series.
