2020 has obviously been an unusual year, especially for the games industry. This year has already seen a number of high-profile game releases (alongside many indie titles) being pushed back into 2021 as a result of the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic. So far that has included games that were set to launch later this year such as Halo InfiniteDying Light 2, and Deathloop, and it's likely that we'll probably see a few more in the coming months get pushed back. However, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X set to debut this holiday season (most likely in November), there are still plenty of games worth looking forward to with the arrival of next-gen.

At the moment, some of the biggest next-gen titles that we can look forward to around the launch of the systems include Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles MoralesBugsnax, Assassin's Creed ValhallaCall of Duty: Black Ops - Cold WarYakuza: Like a Dragon, and several more, including "launch window" games such as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Though most of the launch lineups for both systems seem to be composed mostly of third-party games (so far), we'll have to wait and see if Sony or Microsoft have any other surprises up their sleeves for the systems' launches this holiday.

With the next-gen systems in mind, we want to turn to the DualShockers community for our latest Insta-Forum and ask: What next-gen games on PS5 and Xbox Series X are you most looking forward to? Which games are you planning to pick up when the systems launch? What games are you most excited for further down the line on either system? Let us know in the comments below.

Personally, I would say some of my most anticipated next-gen releases so far includes Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, since it'll most likely be the first game that I grab if I end up getting a PS5 this holiday season. On the Xbox side of things, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Ninja Theory pulls off with Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, as a huge fan of the original game. Of course, there are a bunch of other games that were showcased by both Sony and Microsoft that I'm excited for like the Fable revival and Horizon Forbidden West, though knowing those will be a little further out from launch.
