As is tradition, it is once again time for Thanksgiving: time to gather around, enjoy a delicious feast of entirely too much food, watch the game, enjoy your family and friends' company (or not), and probably take a nap afterwards. Of course, Thanksgiving weekend is also the perfect time for something else: a chance to catch up on all of those games you've been missing out during the long weekend.

To celebrate Thanksgiving weekend, the Insta-Forum is here to ask everyone in the DualShockers what they are thankful for both inside and outside the world of gaming. What games this year are you thankful for? What were some of your favorite moments in this year's best games, whether it was Resident Evil 2Death StrandingThe Outer Worlds, or otherwise.

Personally, I brought my Switch with me while traveling for the holidays and hope to dig into a bunch of the Switch games this year that I haven't had a chance to jump into yet. I just started working my way through The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, but also plan to dip into a couple other Switch games that I have been looking forward to like Pokemon SwordDaemon X Machina, and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Maybe even Fire Emblem: Three Houses, if I'm feeling adventurous.

Of course, this all goes without saying but we here at DualShockers wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and holiday season spent with family, friends, and a ton of great video games.

With all that being said - what games or gaming moments from this year are your favorites? What are you thankful for from the world of gaming this year (or just whatever you're thankful for in general)? Any games you are looking to pick up during Black Friday this weekend?
