Interview: Andrew Zoboki on Bringing Simplicity to the Complex RTS in Grey Goo

on April 22, 2014 10:45 AM

While titles like Watch Dogs and Evolve drew plenty of attention among the crowds of PAX East 2014, developer Petroglyph Games showed off their own unique RTS title, Grey Goo, that aims to appease both hardcore strategy fans and newcomers alike.

From the show floor of PAX East 2014 in Boston at their booth, our own Al Zamora (DSTV Host) spoke with Andrew Zoboki (Lead Game Designer) of Petroglyph Games to get a little deeper into the title, its gameplay, and just what exactly “Grey Goo” is anyway. After a hands-on demo with the title and some conversation with Zoboki, DualShockers takes a look at what players can expect from Grey Goo and how it may bridge the gap between simple gameplay and a hardcore experience.

Grey Goo is expected to release in Fall 2014 on PC – check out our full interview with Petroglyph Games’ Andrew Zoboki on the title below from PAX East 2014:
