Interview: Mirror's Edge: Catalyst Audio Director James Slavin Talks Creating The Game's Atmosphere

Back at E3 we had the chance to get a hands-on preview with Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst. This past week we were able to chat with James Slavin the game’s audio director. Audio direction is one of the roles in video games that, at times, can go unnoticed. But with titles like Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst the game’s soundtrack becomes an integral part of the experience as it pushes the character forward. Check out the interview below and find out how James (and his team) create a soundtrack the gives Faith (the game’s protagonist) the musical momentum she needs as she’s traversing the (beautiful) city of glass.
