Hitman franchise developer IO Interactive has revealed its newest project this morning, and it certainly fits. The studio is focusing on another British chap, except this one's name isn't the last two numbers on the barcode on the back of his head. He likes saying his last name first, his first name last, and likes his martinis shaken, not stirred. That's right, IO Interactive is working on a James Bond game, tentatively titled Project 007.

Today's teaser trailer for the game didn't reveal much at all, but that's to be expected. It did come with that classic look down the barrel of a gun, although 007 wasn't at the end of it. Some news about the game has come out though, from the official James Bond Twitter account. According to a recent tweet, the game will have an entirely original story surrounding the origin of James Bond.

Of course, there isn't word yet on when we'll be able to take a closer look at Project 007. That being said, I wouldn't be too concerned about the state of the game or its quality. If there was ever a developer that could put together a quality James Bond game, it's IO Interactive.

Until then, fans of secret agents and disguises will just have to look forward to Hitman 3, which IO Interactive is treating as the end of Agent 47's journeyHitman 3 is set to release this upcoming January.
