Many will probably remember Adam Boyes for his many appearances on stage at Sony Interactive Entertainment's conferences during various trade shows, during his tenure as VP of Third Party Relations. Currently Boyes is the CEO of Chicago-based developer Iron Galaxy Studios, and today he took to Twitter to send Capcom an interesting proposal.

Boyes recognized that porting Capcom's latest hit Monster Hunter World to the Nintendo Switch is a challenge, but argue that is exactly what Iron Galaxy Studios does, encouraging the publisher to "give them a shot" and promising not to let them down.

While the chance that such a proposal made on Twitter would result in anything concrete is probably slim, it would certainly be interesting to see Iron Galaxy try, especially considering that Monster Hunter World isn't just a demanding game in terms of visuals, but also due to its advanced AI and systemic components.

Of course, even if a port was feasible, it remains to be seen whether the Switch's weaker specs are the main issue here since Capcom's President and Chief Operating Officer Haruhiro Tsujimoto simply mentioned that he would be difficult due to "various conditions." While this is pure speculation, it's entirely possible that among those conditions there could be commercial and marketing deals that prevent a release on the Switch.

Monster Hunter World is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming later this year in the fall. If you want to learn more about the game, you can read our review.
