The Matrix Awakens tech demo provides an incredible open-world setting for many talented modders to try out their wildest ideas in Unreal Engine 5, and thankfully, we now have an Iron Man version of this playable demo with some amazing character animations!
Only a few weeks after the arrival of Unreal Engine 5 to PC, many impressive projects appeared online from indie developers and modders, showing off the capabilities of Epic's new engine as well as how far you can push the boundaries with technologies such as Nanite and Lumen.

Some developers specifically focused on the Matrix Awakens tech demo, trying to bring some new ideas and mechanics to this playable demo and make a superhero game out of it.
It was first started with a Superman demo, where you could freely fly around the city and feel the power of a next-gen superhero game! Then it further improved thanks to a Batman tech demo where you could fight some enemies as well.
Now, an Iron Man demo has appeared from a different modder that doesn't add up any new gameplay mechanics but significantly improves the visual representation!

Probably the most amazing part about the Iron Man tech demo is the detailed character animations and incredible sound design. It really feels like something official with that cool landing animation.
Creator, Aaron Wayne Morse, has definitely put a lot of effort into crafting these smooth animations as well as delivering an exciting sound for Iron Man's super-fast flying.
This is a free tech demo that you can download from here and launch using Unreal Engine 5. However, keep in mind that this is not an optimized demo, which means you need a powerful PC to run it smoothly as shown in the footage above.
