Iron Man VR Comes to PlayStation VR Later this Year
Camouflaj, Sony, and Marvel Games have announced a new VR game centered around the iconic superhero Iron Man.
To kick off Sony’s State of Play live stream today, Marvel Games unveiled Iron Man VR, a new virtual reality game set to arrive later this year.
Iron Man VR is being developed by Camouflaj, the studio that previously has worked on Republique. The reveal of Iron Man VR took the form of a trailer which started off in Tony Stark’s private jet speaking to his AI, Friday. After a hole gets blown in the side of Tony’s jet, he then dons his Iron Man gear in mid-air before we then get to see a few brief sequences of what gameplay will look like.
According to the game’s official description, here’s what you can expect:
Using two PlayStation Move motion controllers fire up Iron Man’s Repulsor Jets and blast into the skies with an arsenal of iconic Iron Man weapons at your fingertips. Face off against Iron Man’s greatest foes in high stakes, action-packed battles. Upgrade tech in Tony Stark’s garage to customize Iron Man’s sleek suit and awesome abilities.
