Well, in his defense, he has made a number of high profile stops along the way. However just recently, Sonic the Hedgehog co-founder  Hirokazu Yasuhara finds himself filling a position at Nintendo's offices in Redmond Washington. What his role will be is still unknown but Nintendo and Yasuhara have confirmed the move.

Having left Namco Bandai just last month, Yasuhara has already updated his LinkedIn profile to show that he is now part of  Nintendo Software Technology.

DS and DSiWare titles are usually the kind of games developed by Nintendo ST and Yasuhara's most recent stint at Namco was a party game featuring Pac Man. With so many different titles under his belt who knows what he'll bring to the big N. Either way, you have to love the irony. My childhood hell just froze over.
