The first season of Arcane has come to an end after nine spectacular episodes. Now, everyone wants to know if a Season 2 of the League of Legends series is in the cards. Well, here's everything we know about it.

Produced by Riot Games and Fortiche, Arcane is one of the most popular animated TV shows to watch right now. The show is set in the massive universe of League of Legends, a successful MOBA title from Riot Games.

The first season of Arcane focused on the origin story of some of the LoL characters. That includes Vander (Warwick), Jinx, Violet, Jayce, Caitlyn, Ekko, Viktor, and Singed. In short, we learned about the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.

As all good things come to an end, Season 1 of Arcane concluded after the release of Act 3. Now, everyone familiar with the show is eager to find out the production plans for Season 2.

Arcane Season 2 Confirmed

A few hours back, Riot Games officially

" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">confirmed that a Season 2 of Arcane is in production. Interestingly, the announcement comes with a teaser visual for the upcoming season.

As previously mentioned, Arcane is based on League of Legends, a game that has been around for more than ten years. In LoL, there are more than 150 champions, and the first season of Arcane told the origin story of fewer than 15 Champions. So, there's so much LoL lore left to explore through the anime series.

On top of that, Arcane has already grabbed the attention of millions of viewers. For instance, more than 1.5 million viewers were watching the Arcane premiere on Twitch alone. Furthermore, the show is sitting on a 9.4/10 rating on IMDB with around 31k voters. So, considering the incredible numbers and positive reception around the show, it's no surprise that Riot is already working on another season of Arcane.

What Could be the Plot of Arcane Season 2?

The universe of League of Legends consists of several champions and regions. So, there's so much more in LoL lore than what we've seen in the first season. Season 1 focused on how Jinx and Vi went on different paths and became the champions we know in the game.

However, many fans think that Season 2 of Arcane might take us to an entirely different region focusing on a set of other champions. If that's the case, we might not get back to Piltover or Zaun in the upcoming season. However, the cliffhanger ending of Arcane Season 1 suggests that Piltover and Zaun will be a part of the second Season.
