Is Bravely Default's Twitter Teasing an International Release?

Square Enix’s Nintendo 3DS JRPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy released in Japan last year to critical acclaim and commercial success. Although there has been some noticeable demand for the game outside of Japan, Square Enix has not mentioned any plans to release the game internationally. However, a tweet made recently from the game’s official Japanese Twitter account suggests that there may be hope for Bravely Default in the west yet.

The tweet reads: “I accessed Twitter after a long absence. A voice of the foreign one arrives properly!”. This is being more accurately translated as: “It’s been a long time since I accessed Twitter, We hear your voices, foreigners!”. This tweet confirms that Square has noticed the demand for the game outside of Japan, and possibly hints that an international release may be in the game’s future.

It’s too early to tell right now, but things are definitely looking better for Bravely Default in the west.
