Pokemon GO: Is Samurott Good & What's Its Best Moveset?
Pokemon GO Community Days are exciting for a multitude of different reasons.
It’s an opportunity for players to come together, it offers the chance to catch an abundance of shiny Pokemon and it can also shake up the Pokemon GO meta, with a new Community Day move released.
Stepping up to the plate this time is none other than Oshawott and its evolutions Dewott and Samurott.
With its final stage getting the new move, we look at whether or not Samurott is good in Pokemon GO and what its best moveset is.
Is Samurott Good in Pokemon GO?
While it’s not going to set the world on fire, Samurott will definitely have some usage in Pokemon GO.
In the Great League, PVPoke ranks it as the 92nd best Pokemon, with Samurott picking up wins against Swampert, Bastiodon, Umbreon and even Venusaur.
It fares slightly worse in the Ultra League, coming in 112th place. It still manages to beat the likes of Cresselia, Swampert and Obstagoon.
Finally, Samurott may have a niche use in the Master League. While it’s never going to be a top Pokemon, it ranks at 156th and can claim victory against some tough opposition, including Mewtwo, Metagross, Kyogre, Landorus and Regirock.
So, overall, as long as you pick its best moveset, Samurott is a good, if unspectacular choice in the GO Battle League.
