With Season Two of Warzone and Cold War almost upon us, fans are noticing the Warzone ship getting closer. This isn't the only easter egg leading up to Season Two, but what could they all mean?

The Warzone Ship Is Getting Closer

The Season Two gameplayer trailer mentions a cargo tanker 'Vodianoy' that had gone missing at sea. Fans first noticed the ship off the coast of Rebirth Island. But now the ship appears to be heading straight for Verdansk. The official blurb for the trailer states "the ship is carrying unknown cargo, and its crew are not able to be contacted".

An eagle-eyed Warzone player has taken to Reddit to point out ship and storm appear to be getting closer to Verdansk. It seems that with Season Two beginning soon, the ship could be about to make contact with Verdansk.

Many fans are speculating that as all contact has been lost with the ship, it will crash into the side of Verdansk and become a new point of interest for Season Two. As for the 'unknown cargo', could zombies be about to make their way into Verdansk? It's possible that with the new Outbreak mode coming in Season Two, Activision is looking to ramp up the zombie action even further.
