Chapter 3 Season 1 has officially arrived, and although there's plenty of new content to discover, fans are still eager to know if the Zapatron has finally made a return to Fortnite with the new Chapter.
The Zapatron is one of the most infamous weapons in Fortnite history, and some eagle-eyed fans have found a few hints that it could be returning very soon. So, here's everything you need to know about the possible return of the Zapatron.

What Is The Zapatron?
The Zapatron is a Legenday Sniper Rifle that is available in Save The World and was briefly available in Fortnite's Battle Royale mode. All the way back in 2017, a new patch was deployed that included the Zapatron in Supply Drops. Unfortunately, the weapon was removed with the very next patch as it threatened the balance of the competitive shooter.
The weapon was removed so quickly that there is barely any footage of its existence. However, one player was lucky enough to get their hands on it and deal a massive 150 damage after charging up the weapon for a few seconds.

Has The Zapatron Returned In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1?
Chapter 2 ended with an epic live event before players were left stranded at sea for almost 18 hours. During the lengthy downtime, players began noticing various items and weapons floating through the water, one of which appeared to be the Zapatron.

Now that the game's servers are back online and people are jumping into Chapter 3, we're all eager to know, has the Zapatron finally returned after all these years?
Unfortunately, there are no reports that the Zapatron is currently available on the new Battle Royale island, nor is there any confirmation from Epic Games that the weapon has returned. However, that's not to say that it won't return at some point in the future.
