Genshin Impact is currently the most popular Japanese-styled game out there, and it's Halloween in a few hours, did the devs plan a special event this 2021?

First, it's important to realize it's a staple for free-to-play, Japanese stylized gacha games to set up events related to holidays and real-life events like Halloween. Games like Uma Musume, Azur Lane, or Destiny Child not only organize events related to Japanese, Chinese and Korean holidays respectively but also Western events like Halloween.playersFirst, it's important to realize it's a staple for free-to-play, Japanese stylized gacha games to set up events related to holidays and real-life events like Halloween. Is there a Halloween event in Genshin Impact, new official artwork coming

miHoYo didn't announce a Halloween event for Genshin Impact, and it's unlikely there will be one in-game. However, it's all but officially confirmed a new special Halloween 2021 artwork will be published on the 31st. Some community events on HoYoLAB could be revealed as well, so keep your eyes on the Genshin Impact official Twitter.

It's possible we could get some rewards for Halloween as well. Though I doubt it'll be Primogems, and it's more likely to be in the form of a message from the characters alongside some special dishes.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Japanese community got its own specific Halloween contests too. I reguarly check the Japanese Genshin Impact Twitter acount, more than the English one in fact, so I'll be sure to tell you if something interesting happens.

Genshin Impact is currently in its 2.2 Version. Hu Tao, the 5-star character with a relation to Megumin from KonoSuba, is getting her first banner rerun in a few days. Brand new character Thoma will also be featured on her banner. You can also reach out to me on Twitter to chat about Genshin @A_iyane07.
