Is There a Humble Indie Store Coming?

on January 7, 2012 12:00 PM

The good folks on Reddit may have just discovered a pretty awesome nugget of info that’ll delight indie fanatics the world over: the presence of what looks to be individual listings for indie games on the Humble Bundle homepage, effectively creating a Humble Indie Store of sorts.

Notable games include Braid, VVVVVV, and World of Goo;┬ánot only are the listings straightforward, streamlined, and simple, but they’re also apparently DRM-free, which should make this potentially new platform immediately appealing to gamers looking for indie games to play.

Check out a pretty extensive (but not final) list of games in the full awesome Reddit thread; it’s pretty freakin long, and it seems like it’s just a matter of time before the full store is finally rolled out to the public.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
