Warzone Season 6 New Weapons
Season 6 is the final showdown before Call of Duty: Vanguard arrives this November and a new story begins, and Activision are aiming to end Cold War with a bang.
There’s plenty of new content across both Warzone and Cold War, but most importantly, there’s two brand new weapons for players to unlock.
To kick off the season, the Grav Assault Rifle and .410 Ironhide Shotgun are available as free tiers in the latest Battle Pass. The Grav can be unlocked at Tier 31, whilst the Ironhide at Tier 15.
Many will recognise the Grav Assault Rifle as it is essentially the Galil from previous Black Ops titles, it is a fully automatic assault rifle with a fast rate of fire, modest damage, and moderate recoil.
The .410 Ironhide is a band new lever-action shotgun that boasts a high damage at close range with an improved fire rate. The Ironhide is a reliable 2-shot kill with a short 1-shot range.
But the real question is, have they changed the Warzone Meta for Season 6?

What’s The Weapon Meta In Warzone Season 6?
In terms of the new weapons, the Grav Assault Rifle appears to have some horrendous recoil, making it a lot less accurate than guns such as the Krig or FARA-83.
As for the Ironhide Shotgun, it requires good accuracy from the player but can be deadly. However, Shotguns don’t often become meta in Warzone unless incredibly overpowered, which the Ironhide doesn’t appear to be.
There weren’t any crazy nerfs or buffs made to existing weapons either, with only the C58 Assault Rifle, EM2 Assault Rifle, MG 82 Light Machine Gun, and the Stoner 63 Light Machine gun receiving slight nerfs. More details on those nerfs can be found here.
So, it looks like the weapon meta has stayed pretty stable with the launch of Season 6. Fans can expect the Krig 6, FARA-83, and AK-47 (BOCW) to likely remain the fan favorite picks for the season.
