Here is whether there is a Shiny Aipom in Pokemon Go or not.

June 28, 2021

We are in the last week of June, but Pokemon Go still has some stuff for players out there before the month comes to an end. With over 150 million users, Pokemon Go has been pretty much dominating the mobile gaming industry since its launch back in 2016.

A large number of events in the game have played a major role in the game’s success, with Niantic making sure that the playerbase is kept engaged over a longer period of time. This month, we started off with the Gible Community Day, followed by the A Slow Discovery Challenge along with the A Seven-Colored Shadow Special Research.

While the month is about to end, there is one more event to go, and that is quite a familiar one. Here is all you need to know about the upcoming Spotlight Hour.

Is there a Shiny Aipom in Pokemon Go? – June Spotlight Hour 2021

Every Tuesday the Spotlight Hour takes place in Pokemon Go which gives players a chance to catch a specific Pokemon. That Pokemon will have a higher spawn rate in the wild, making it significantly easier to catch it. This is quite a nice way to add Pokemon to your collection which you don’t already have.

For the last week of June, we have Aipom as the featured Pokemon. Aipom is a Normal-type Generation 2 Pokemon and hails from the Johto region. It evolves to Ambipom.

Many players are wondering whether a Shiny variant of Aipom exists in Pokemon Go or not. The good news is that there is indeed a Shiny Aipom in Pokemon Go. Aipom’s Shiny form was released into Pokemon GO as part of the Detective Pikachu Celebration event, which took place over two years ago, starting on May 7, 2019. A Shiny Aipom is pink in color, as compared to the regular purple color. However, considering how rare Shiny variants are, you might still have a hard time finding one.
