For the second Spotlight Hour of April 2022, we have Bunnelby as the featured Pokemon in the game. The event will start at the usual 6 pm local time and players have until 7 pm to get the most out of it. For the hour the event lasts, players will be able to see Bunnelby more often in the wild than usual, and it is one of the best ways to add a Pokemon to your collection if you don't own it.

Is There a Shiny Bunnelby in Pokemon GO April 2022 Spotlight Hour?

Bunnelby is a Normal-type Pokemon that was added in Generation VI and hails all the way from the Kalos region. Bunnelby has made a number of appearances in the anime, so if you are an avid fan of that you might be quite familiar with this Pokemon. Bunnelby evolves into Diggersby.

When it comes to the shiny status of the Pokemon, there is some great news for players out there as a shiny Bunnelby exists in Pokemon Go. It is a tad difficult to spot a shiny Bunnelby since it looks quite similar to the regular one. What you need to do is pay attention to the ears of the Pokemon, as a regular one has brown tips. The shiny variant on the other hand has white ends, which can be slightly difficult to see in the wild.

While you might be quite eager to get your hands on the Shiny Bunnelby, do note that there are no changes to shiny rates during the event. So you still have to be very lucky in order to get a Bunnelby. That being said, the spawn rate increases significantly, so you still have a very good chance of catching a shiny Bunnelby.
