Pokemon Go's Spotlight Hour is back once again this week, giving players a chance to catch an exciting Pokemon

At the beginning of every month, Niantic releases a list of events that players can look forward to experiencing in the coming four weeks. Last month was quite an eventful one for players out there, as a new Pokemon movie was released, and as a result, there was a tie-in event in the game as well.

With November kicking off, a new set of events has made its way into the game, along with the Spotlight Hours.

Is there a Shiny Chinchou in Pokemon Go November Spotlight Hour 2021?

For the second week of November, we have Chinchou as the featured Pokemon. This essentially means that players will have a way better shot at catching Chinchou during the event, considering that the spawn rate of the said Pokemon is increased during the course of the event. The event takes place between 6 to 7 pm local time, so players need to plan it accordingly.

Chinchou is a Water and Electric-type Pokemon that was added to the game in Generation 2. It evolves into Lanturn and hails from the Johto region.

Like always, players are wondering if a shiny variant of the Pokemon exists in the game or not. Well, there is some good news this time as a shiny variant of Chinchou does exist in the game. That being said, given that the spawn rates of shinies don't improve with the Spotlight Hour, don't expect a lot of them. Still, it's worth a shot searching for a shiny during the Spotlight Hour.
