We are more than halfway into October, and a number of interesting events have already taken place in Pokemon Go. However, there is more to come.

Avid players of the game might be well aware of the sheer number of events that take place in the game on a regular basis. Right before the start of a new month, Niantic announces a long list of events that will be arriving in the game, and these events keep fans engaged for several days.

Is there a Shiny Gothita in Pokemon Go October Spotlight Hour 2021?

This week will be marking the third Spotlight Hour of October. For this week, we have Gothita as the featured Pokemon in the game. For starters, this means that Gothita will be spawning more often in the wild from 6 pm to 7 pm local time, on Tuesday, October 19th. If you don't have a Gothita in your collection, this is your best shot at catching one.

Gothita is a Psychic-type Pokemon. It was added in Generation V and hails from the Unova region. Gothita was added to Pokemon Go last year. It evolves to Gothorita and finally Gothitelle.

If you are looking for a shiny variant of the Pokemon, then you are unfortunately out of luck. A shiny variant of Gothita doesn't exist in Pokemon Go as of yet and is not slated to arrive anytime soon either. So for now, you have to make do with the normal Gothita itself.
