Why Fans Think Venom Could Appear

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage AHEAD:

In the post-credit scene for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie Brock (Venom) is seen sitting in a hotel room. After a brief conversation with his alter-ego, he is transported into what seems to be a different universe.

In this new “universe”, J Jonah Jameson is seen unveiling Tom Holland as Spider-Man, which has major implications and suggests that Venom and Eddie have somehow made their way to the MCU.

So, Eddie Brock/Venom/Tom Hardy doesn’t appear in the movie, at least during its regular runtime, however, that’s not to say he doesn’t appear at all.

During the first of the movie’s two post-credits scenes, Eddie is seen drinking in a bar in Mexico, asking the barman about all of the superheroes in the new universe he’s in, referencing the likes of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk before disappearing in a way that is familiar to those who have watched the movie.
