Many have been going for Ubisoft’s throat this year. Whether it was the whole issue with Watch Dogs, or issues with the Uplay service, gamers have been pretty rough. Recently, with the announcement of Assassin’s Creed Unity, there was a bit of a cease fire, but it all started up once again with the announcement of Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
The game which is only releasing for last gen consoles, is seen as a cash grab to many gamers. We hope the title is taken as seriously as any other AC title, but with Assassin’s Creed games now dropping more often than Call of Duty does, its understandable that people are starting to get a bit skeptical. The latest title, Rogue, apparently takes away a feature that many in the series enjoyed.
According to GamingEverything, Assassin’s Creed Rogue won’t have Multiplayer. This could be because the development was running parallel to the development for Unity, and the team chose to focus more on the current gen game than the last gen title, but in that case why make the last gen game at all?
Hopefully this game turns out to be another well polished, fun, and exciting title in the Assassin’s Creed series.
