It Takes Two is the latest title from internet sweetheart Josef Fares and his company, Hazelight Studios.

Like 2018's A Way Out, It Takes Two will offer players the opportunity to come together to complete the game.

Although it's not far away, here is the exact It Takes Two release date on which you can get your hands on a copy of the game.

What is It Takes Two?

Like A Way Out, It Takes Two is designed to be played cooperatively, either locally via split-screen or online. Each player controls one of the game's two protagonists named May and Cody, who have been cursed and turned into dolls.

On their adventure, players must complete tasks to return to their old state, back in the real world.

Each of the two characters have a specific set of skills and abilities which are likely to play a big part in the game, helping to solve puzzles and complete challenges. May has the ability to duplicate herself and Cody has the power to rewind time.

When is the It Takes Two release date on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X?

Players who are excited to play Josef Fares' next co-op adventure won't have to wait long. The game releases across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X in just a week's time, on Friday, March 26.

Unfortunately, despite looking like it could be a great fit, It Takes Two won't be releasing on the Nintendo Switch, or at least it's not been officially announced as of yet.

Will you need two copies of the game to play online co-op?

Again, like A Way Out, It Takes Two will be using a "Friends Pass". This allows any player who has purchased the game to invite a friend to play free of charge, whether they own a copy of the game or not.
