NIS Reveals Their Teased Horror Game as a PS4 and PS Vita Port of Iwaihime: Matsuri

Over the past week, Nippon Ichi Software has been teasing an unknown horror game with little to pinpoint what it could be. The company has finally announced that the game will be a port of the PC title Iwaihime: Matsuri to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

From the mind of Ryukishi07 (Higurashi When They Cry and Umineko When They Cry), Iwaihime: Matsuri tells a story of the Susuharia family, who’s males leave home at certain age of maturity. The main protagonist is no different, he planed to enter school and then transfer out to begin his training of body and soul until he becomes accepted as an adult.

However, after meeting a strange girl in class, Toe Kurokami, who carries a Japanese doll around with her everywhere. The doll could be cursed, but that is to be discovered in the game’s story.

At this time, there is no word if the game will be coming coming west.
