Jackbox Games has announced that it will be releasing yet another compilation of party games later this year and, being that it's the 10th anniversary of the party game franchise, it's going to be a special occasion for fans to enjoy.

In the run-up to Jackbox Party Pack 10, the studio behind the wacky series will be highlighting one of the previous releases each month, culminating in the release of Jackbox Party Pack 10 this fall/autumn. Jackbox Party Pack 10 is expected to release on all major platforms and it'll ship with support for English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages.

As is the norm by now, the new party pack will contain five new games for friends and family to get stuck into, though the exact nature of these games has not yet been revealed. Bear in mind, we're still quite some way from release, so don't expect to see much of the new content right away, though the developer has stated on its blog that it will be sharing details about the five new games over the coming months. At some point later this year, the developer will also be showing off some gameplay and behind-the-scenes insight from the series' development history during its Inside The Box livestreams on YouTube and Twitch.

For those who have maybe missed out on some of the previous Jackbox Party Packs, there's some good news; the developer will be offering its back catalog at a heavy discount via the official Jackbox Games store. Handy if you're missing any of the collection, but also only handy if you play on PC as the offer is only for Steam codes.

In addition to the announcement, the developer has released a new promotional video with famous faces talking about what Jackbox Party means to them, as well as some comments from the development team about what it means to be part of the party game's history.

The first Jackbox Party was released way back in 2014 and was an instant hit that found itself a mainstay among fans of party game experiences. Since then, the series has expanded to a total of nine entries with a tenth on the way. The last release, Jackbox Party Pack 9, came out last year and our very own Matthew Schomer had high praise for the game, despite having to play it with the motley DualShockers editorial team and their awful humor: "Anyone looking for casual laughs with a group of friends, whether from the same living room or spread across the globe, will find something to appreciate here."
