Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes' Opening Cutscene Revealed in New Trailer
Japan is due to get Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch this August, and a new opening video has been revealed.
Arc System Works has shown the opening cutscene for their detective-themed titled Tantei Jinguji Saburo: Prism of Eyes, the latest chapter of the franchise known in the west as Jake Hunter Detective Story.
The opening cutscene that you can watch below shows off some of the main cast, a lot of flashing transitions, a lot of driving scenes, and a bomb that is followed by an explosion.
As already reported by Giuseppe back in early May, the Weekly Famitsu revealed some screenshots and artwork in their magazine. We were later shown some of the first screenshots for the PS4 and Switch which you can view here.
We also know that Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes will feature four brand new cases to solve, but will also include ten cases from previous titles that were originally released on mobile devices from 2004 to 2008.
We’re still unsure if the title will be released anywhere else than Japan as we’re still awaiting the arrival of Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk on the 3DS.
Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes is due to launch on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on August the 9th 2018.
