Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk received a localization announcement from Aksys Games during Anime Expo 2017, coming to the Nintendo 3DS.

The game rives the Jake Hunter series with a new case for players to uncover. The game is being developed by key members of the original Jake Hunter staff.

Before this announcement, the only entry in the series to be localized was 2009’s Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past, but still, the game has gained a small followed of visual novel and mystery fans.

Earlier this year, Arc System Works acquired Jake Hunter’s IP holder, WorkJam, making this new release possible.

Currently there is no word on a western release of the mobile remastered titles called Jake Hunter: Oldies.
