Jam City Takes Over Disney Emoji Blitz as Part of a New Multi-Year Collaboration
Mobile giant Jam City has confirmed a new partnership with Disney that will see it take over Disney Emoji Blitz and create a game based on Frozen's sequel.
Mobile entertainment company Jam City has announced this morning that it will be collaborating with iconic animation giant Disney through a new multi-year deal.
The new partnership between the two companies will see Jam City taking over the popular three-in-a-row mobile title Disney Emoji Bitz which features characters from such franchises as Wreck-It Ralph, Pixar’s Toy Story, Mickey Mouse & Friends, along with a wealth of classic Disney villains. Members of Disney’s Galade Games Studio will be joining forces with Jam City on the project to continue working on the game which was originally released in 2016.
On top of this, Jam City has also announced that it will be spearheading a mobile game based on the upcoming sequel to the Disney Animation’s worldwide phenomenon Frozen. Although there is no current release date confirmed for the title, it’s reasonable to assume that it will launch alongside the movie when it hits theatres next winter.
Jam City was originally founded in 2009 and is a driving force in mobile gaming. The company is the best known for its work on such titles are Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. The company will now have access to an abundance of Disney-based characters and settings from both Pixar and Walt Disney Animations’ universes.
Today Jam City announced that it has entered into a multi-year mobile games development partnership with @Disney to develop new mobile games based on iconic characters and stories from Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios. https://t.co/EXE86FHLt4 pic.twitter.com/deERfHToNw
