Japan Gets Best Seller Version of Bayonetta

SEGA is producing a new version of the critical grenade Bayonetta. This new version will feature a reversible cover with new art and a collection of trailers for both Bayonetta and the upcoming Platinum Games title Vanquish (goody!).

There will be both Best Hits and Platinum Collection versions for the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively. This new version will also be available at a reduced price point, which in itself is enough of a reason for gamers who haven’t played it yet to pick it up.

While this version does not seem to add any notable content, barring the cover art and trailer collection, it’s cheaper than the ordinary version. So you would technically pay less to get more. Currently, the best seller version of Bayonetta is for Japan only. Enthusiasts can take solace in the fact that the game performed well enough to warrant a re-release.
