Japanese Monster Hunter 3G Bundles Look Great, a Bit Weird.

Japan is getting two different bundles for the upcoming 3DS action-RPG Monster Hunter 3G. The first bundle includes the game a white 3DS decorated with a stylized version of the cover monster Brakidos, and it looks really sharp and nice.

The second includes the game and the controversial (and optional) slide pad, that is supposed to improve the experience.

Both bundles are limited in numbers. The one with the 3DS will cost 20,800 yen ($271) and the one with the slide pad is priced 6,990 yen ($91).

The weird thing is that there’s no bundle that includes the 3DS and the slide pad, and even weirder than that is that while the branded 3DS is white, the slidepad included in the bundle is black. I’m not sure the two will look that nice when assembled.

Scratch that, I’m quite sure they’ll look rather bad. Anyway, you can see pictures of both bundles past the cut:
