Konami announced today the release date for the 3DS version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

The much awaited 3D remake of the PS2 cold war classic will hit the Japanese shelves on March the 8th, 2012.

If you're waiting to dress up Snake with weird patterns picked up with the 3DS camera while listening to a lot of dialogue in Japanese (and a great soundtrack), now you know how long.
