Arc System Works, the creators behind the popular fighting game series BlazBlu, announced the Japanese release dates for the Playstation 3 version of BlazBlu: Chrono Phantasma (October 24th) and the newly announced (and oddly named) XBlaze Code: Embryo (July 25th), the latter being released on both the PS3 and the Playstation Vita. However, there hasn't been any talk of an Xbox 360 or PC port or even a North American release date for either games.

XBlaze Code: Embryo is a spinoff action game, in which the story revolves around the main character and a mysterious girl named Es. The game also uses an equally mysterious gameplay system called the TOi, but it remains to be seen as to how it actually ties into gameplay.

Tons of very pretty images from both games are available below for your viewing pleasure.
