Japanese Retailer Lists Valkyria Chronicles 3: Extra Edition

August 29, 2011

This is most likely the news Sega hinted at on the Valkyria Chronicles 3 blog the other day. Looks like a retailer in Japan beat them to the punch. It appears that this special edition of VC3 will feature new episodes and include a few DLC packs (of the development team’s choice) that were available paid through the PSN.

This and a re-release of Valkyria Chronicles 2, both budget titles, seem to be planned. I’m not going to say for sure this is Sega’s announcement – I was honestly hoping for something better, you know, like a Western release announcement – but it’s probably a pretty good bet.
