Japanese Virtual Console Getting Classic MegaTen SRPG

Yeah, the Shin Megami Tensei series had a few SRPGs about a decade before Devil Survivor was a thing. Majin Tensei II was one of them, and it fits in with a lot of the old-school SMT titles, involving demon negotiation and demons invading Tokyo. You know, average SMT stuff.

It’s getting a re-release on the Virtual Console in Japan, so any of you who (somehow) have your Wiis set to work on the Japanese Wii Shop can check it out, and, since the game’s dialogue is in Japanese but the interface is all in English, it’s possible (if only slightly) that the game could get a release on the US Virtual Console. They did release Cho Aniki here, after all. If we can have ludicrously gay men shooting lasers from their crotches in Japanese, we can have a regular SMT SRPG in Japanese.
