Who Is Javelin?

Javelin is a character from the DC comic books, and is now set to make his cinematic debut in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Unfortunately, his real name is unknown but there’s still quite a bit we do know about the character.

He is a former German Olympic athlete who went on to use his Olympic strength in a world of crime. As the name may suggest, this villain uses weaponized javelins when causing chaos.

His abilities consists of exceptional upper-body strength due to being a former Olympic athlete, as well as being incredibly skilled at javelin throwing. So, when you weaponize javelins, you’ve got a pretty deadly and accurate villain.

Javelin is part of Task Force X, but is extremely cocky, overconfident, and even slightly sadistic. Exactly what you’d expect from a member of The Suicide Squad.

Who Will Play Javelin In The Suicide Squad?

So now that Javelin will be making his cinematic debut, who will be portraying the arrogant villain?

Flula Borg is set to take on the role of Javelin in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, set to release in August of 2021.

If you don’t recognise the name, you may have seen Borg in films such as Pitch Perfect 2 and Trolls World Tour. Starring in the new superhero film could lead to even bigger things for the German actor in the future, so keep your eyes peeled for what Borg gets up to next.
