JGOD Reveals The Most Overpowered Perk In Call of Duty: Vanguard

Make the most of this Vanguard perk before it's nerfed!

November 7, 2021

Our very first weekend with Call of Duty: Vanguard is officially in the books, and it didn’t take long for Call of Duty expert JGOD to discover which Multiplayer Perk is the most overpowered.

It’s rare for a Call of Duty game to release with all weapons and perks perfectly balanced, so we were all expecting there to be some sort of issue in the first couple of weeks. Well, JGOD might have just set the new perk meta with this one.

JGOD Discovers Incredibly Broken Vanguard Perk

In JGOD’s most recent YouTube video, he gave his reason as to why ‘Forward Intel’ is the most overpowered and broken perk in Call of Duty: Vanguard right now.

He starts by saying that this perk will have slipped under the radar for many, as it was also available in Call of Duty: WWII, but was nowhere near as powerful.

So, what exactly does the Forward Intel perk do? Well, the official in-game description reads “See indicators for enemy reinforcements on your minimap. Minimap shows a larger area”. Essentially, the perk shows the player squares on the minimap as to where enemies are spawning.

JGOD’s video explained how broken this is as he and his team had a whole team spawn trapped and then could immediately see their spawns flip to behind them on the minimap, which meant they were able to quickly reverse and spawn trap the team again. As JGOD points out, this gives you a great indication to where you should be pre-aiming without necessarily needing to know the exact spot the enemy is in.

We highly recommend checking out JGOD’s breakdown of this perk as it certainly is amazing how overpowered this perk is. If it proves to become the meta in terms of perk, expect a patch to rectify the issue, so jump in and use it while you still can.
