Nippon Ichi Software revealed new details on Jinrui no Minasama e (To All of Mankind), the game with 5 girls trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic Akiba. The game's opening animation sequence, short gameplay videos, and a sixth DLC-only girl were revealed.

The DLC only girl is Shuuka Suhaaya, who can be bought after reaching a certain point in the story. Shuuka is half-Japanese, half-Russian. Nippon Ichi Software actually shared how her family name is supposedly spelled in Russian: CyxaЯ. Shuuka is a genius 12 years old girl who skipped multiple grades, she's currently majoring in space engineering and she's a space otaku. Since she's a genius, she tends to notice things that the other five girls don't. Shuuka is voiced by Yuki Yagi.

Jinrui no Minasama e's protagonist Kyouka Shintou and the other girls' profiles were already detailed when the game got announced.

The official site was also updated with a page globally detailing how the gameplay goes. Each day, Kyouka and the girls wake up in the hotel they're staying at. Kyouka will wake up early or late depending on what the player did the previous day. You'll be able to do more actions a day if she wakes up early, as each action takes a certain amount of minutes.

Next, Kyouka can explore Akihabara in 3D, and ask the girls to accompany her for various tasks like searching for items, fishing, hunting, farming, cooking, making tools, etc. The girls can be sent alone to do these tasks as well and will report later to Kyouka how did it go. The girls will use everything they find to survive, like "how to" doujinshis. Basically, the more you explore, the more knowledge the girls have, unlocking new cooking or crafting recipes. Some of the girls are better suited for certain tasks than others. The crafting and cooking system also has "hidden recipes", though how to unlock them wasn't revealed.

Jinrui no Minasama e is a survival game, meaning taking into account each girl's hunger and stamina is important. Tired girls will work twice as slow. Besides the 3D exploration part, everything in the game is handled through text and menus, like in a visual novel.

The game's new screenshots, the short gameplay videos from the official Twitter account and the opening movie can be found below.

Last but not least, Jinrui no Minasama e's producer is currently accepting questions on this Twitter thread and will answer in the next few days. It's highly likely only questions written in Japanese will be taken into account though.

Jinrui no Minasama e is co-developed by Nippon Ichi Software and Acquire. The game launches on June 27 on Switch and PS4, after it got delayed from its initial May 30 release date. There's no western release announcement as of now.
